After my trip to Redang, I went to Kuala Terenganu for a stroll.
I went to the local market and saw them selling turtle eggs.
A packet of 5 for RM9 for eggs that are from Sabah and RM12 for eggs that are from Terenganu.
I later found out from the lady that local eggs (Terenganu) costs more as they're fresher and tastier, whereas those from Sabah are cheaper because they're not as fresh and tasty compared to the local ones.
As you can see from the picture, the turtle eggs are like ping pong balls.
The shell is very very soft.
In terms of taste, they didn't taste as good as I thought it would. It has a funny taste and the texture is coarse..
My grandma, who used to love turtle eggs was at first very excited that I bought her so many. But after tasted it.. she said that it wasn't as good as it should be and that turtle eggs like these she "bo gian chiak". =.=
So I think the market lady con me lar. Sell me expired turtle eggs...

my intention is to try and see if it's nice.. but then.. it sucked... wasted my money leh. Don't buy turtle eggs my friends.. it's freaking expensive and it suck....
hatch it into baby turtles better still...><
